The challenge
2GO Lokeren, a branch of 2GO VZW, helps young people in Lokeren aged 18 to 25 who lack a support network and the financial means. They are referred by local partners, including Welzijnshuis Lokeren, JAC (CAW) and Vagevuur.
For young people with fewer opportunities, getting a driving licence is the way to widen their chances. A driving licence is not only a practical advantage, it also encourages personal development.
VZW 2GO matches young people with fewer opportunities with volunteer driving buddies who guide them towards independence and better job prospects.
The solution: ProDongle Plug & Play
ProDongle wanted to support 2GO even better in this, with data from Track & Trace.
Through the Plug & Play solution, buddies and their learners gained insight into driving behaviour after every trip: where did they drive too fast, and why?
Reviewing the trip together
Buddy Rik and Sofian from 2GO Lokeren made a habit of reviewing the trip results together. They discussed what to improve, and they also celebrated the good scores. And that turned out to be a powerful motivator for Sofian to keep doing his best.
