Presence of persons and assets
The ProDongle Beacon can register the presence of persons and assets. This allows applications such as asset monitoring, inventory of goods, trailer registration and more.
Beacons can also be used to identify drivers and passengers during trips. Each individual carries a personal Beacon, allowing accurate detection of who is in the vehicle at any given time. This enables driver and passenger logging and links trip data to specific persons.
If the Beacon+ is chosen, registration of temperature and humidity is possible.
Dectection with a Beacon is an extension of the Plug and Play, Blackbox Light and Blackbox.

1. Activation of Beacon detection
The Beacon extension can be activated on simple demand for the Plug and Play, Blackbox Light and Blackbox products.
2. Reporting and alerts
The Beacon is registered every 15 minutes when stationary and every minute when moving. This allows detailed reporting and alerts via our Application such as
- sending of SMS when an asset is no longer present at a location
- management of mobile assets via the "Last seen" report
- detailed trips of trailers by linking them to a vehicle
- registration of passengers during a trip
If the Beacon+ is chosen, registration of temperature and humidity is possible.
